Visitors are always welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and we typically have inspirational teaching, worship and opportunities for prayer, followed by a coffee time after the service. The service tends to last around an hour and a quarter, although shorter when we have 'all in' services.
Our Sunday evening services are relaxed and welcoming. they have the same talk and worship leaders as the mornings.
Coming alone? We know it can sometimes be hard to come into a new place for the first time, especially if you are coming on your own. If you would like to be buddied with someone who can meet you beforehand, walk in with you, introduce you to a few people and sit with you if you would like that, please contact our
office and we would be happy to arrange that.
Children & youth:There are
children and youth groups available during the
Sunday morning service in term time. Our youth (school years 6-13) go out to these groups after about 15 mins of the service, after some time of worshipping together. Our children's groups (preschool to school year 5) register for their groups downstairs before the service begins and then on the first Sunday of the month go upstairs to join in with the worship time. The other weeks during term time they go straight to their groups and have their own worship time there.
Our groups are designed to help them learn about and experience God for themselves, build strong relationships with one another and have fun!
In the holidays we join together as a whole church family for 'all in' services.
About every six weeks we have ‘Serving Sunday’, where our older youth choose a team to serve with, whether upstairs with the adults, or with the younger children downstairs. They also occasionally lead our main service. You can view our last youth lead service
here.
BSL (British Sign Language):On the first Sunday of the month we have BSL provision.
